Cisalpina Classic Race: an unmissable experience
The Classic Paddock event returns in style: from 29 to 31 August 2024, Cisalpina Classic Race brings historic and GT cars back in the Aosta Valley, in an area where culture, history, tradition and masterpieces of nature come together in a context of elegance and refinement.
The last edition of Cisalpina Classic Race showed all the experience and very high organizational level of Roberto Crugnola, CEO & founder of Classic Paddock, who has developed an innovative and unprecedented format. Now the time has come to return to that stage of incomparable beauty that is the Aosta Valley, to its streets and above all to its extraordinary hospitality.
The route of the Cisalpina Classic Race 2024 edition will still be divided into two legs and will have a length of approximately 500 kilometers and, like last year, the departure and arrival will always be in the picturesque village of La Salle, an ancient village immersed in an of serenity and natural beauty, overlooking an enchanting position on gentle slopes and surrounded by orchards and vineyards. The Cisalpina Classic Race headquarters, and this is the first news, will be located in the prestigious Courmayeur and precisely at the Grand Hotel Royal & Golf.
The competitive component of the Cisalpina Classic Race will be based on about 100 timed trials including classic regularity and average trials: it will be a challenging but not stressful race, fun for professionals and novice enthusiasts and fine-tuning also to accommodate the ambitions of the most competitive foreign crews. Finally, in the unfortunate event that your car is not able to continue the race, the organization makes some classic cars available to continue to fully experience the Cisalpina Classic Race.
Cisalpina Classic Race is a Superclassic on the Aci Sport calendar for historic cars and youngtimers produced up to 1990 and is valid for the Italian Major Events Championship for modern Supercars and Gran Turismos. The technical-sports checks will be held on Thursday 29 August. The next day, Friday 30th, the start of the first stage and, the following day, the second decisive portion of the race, which will end with the gala dinner and the awards ceremony.
